In 1840 the Norwegian artist J.C. Dahl painted this work of art. The original version of the masterpiece measures the size: 7,8 x 13,1 cm. Oil on paper was used by the European painter as the technique for the painting. Today, this work of art belongs to the Thorvaldsens Museum's digital collection, which is a single-artist museum dedicated to the art of Danish neoclassicistic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen.
