The rich man and Lazarus. The parable of the rich man and Lazarus depicted in three scenes in the interior. In the middle of the rich man to a meal, the beggar is driven at the door. Left the rich man dies and his soul taken by devils, right Lazarus resting in the bosom of Abraham in heaven. The painting is part of a series of parables painted for the Lutheran church in Leiden (see also Nos. A-SK-2958 and SK-A-2959).
