The theme for this painting was made in 1753 by Paul Troger at the Vienna Academy for the painting competition. As the winner here but Christoph Unterberger and Martin Knoller emerged; Sigrist received - after he had previously finished second in - but no voice. [Georg Lechner, 3/2009]
