Franz Carl REMP engages in this representation on a then very prominent Venetian paintings back: Antonio Molinari large-format, same to 1694/1695 resulting representation of subjects, once in the church of Corpus Domini in Venice and now located in Murano, similar to the image of Remp in narrative arrangement and some single figures strongly. The figure of the singing and dancing David stands out particularly in the creations Remps and Molinari. Both have a representation Domenichino as a model that was common in the 17th century by stitches. [Georg Lechner 5/2010]

The 18th century artwork was painted by the artist Franz Carl Remp. The original version was made with the size: 36 x 98 cm - frame dimensions: 46 x 107 x 4,5 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the medium of the masterpiece. What is more, the work of art is in the the Belvedere's digital collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. On top of that, alignment is in landscape format with an image ratio of 5 : 2, which means that the length is two and a half times longer than the width. The painter Franz Carl Remp was an artist, whose artistic style was primarily Baroque. The Baroque artist lived for 43 years and was born in 1675 in Ratmannsdorf / Radovljica, Slovenia and died in 1718 in Vienna.
