In 1875 Remigius Adrianus van Haanen made this artpiece Eichenwald. The original measures the size: 120 x 98 cm - frame: 162,5 × 141 × 13,5 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the medium of the work of art. The masterpiece has the following text as inscrption: signed lower center: Remi v Haanen. What is more, this artpiece can be viewed in in the art collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait and has a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Remigius Adrianus van Haanen was a painter, whose style can be classified as Realism. The Realist painter lived for a total of 82 years, born in the year 1812 in Oosterhout, Netherlands and died in the year 1894.
