That is why, a canvas print is suited for all kinds of walls.
  • Printed acrylic glass: The acrylic glass print, often labelled as a print on plexiglass, makes the original artwork into wonderful décor. The work of art will be printed with the help of modern UV direct print machines.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a printed canvas with a nice surface finish. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.

Important information: We try everythig possible in order to describe our art products in as much detail as we can and to showcase them visually on the various product detail pages. Please bear in mind that the pigments of the printed materials and the print result may diverge to a certain extent from the representation on the monitor. Depending on the screen settings and the nature of the surface, not all color pigments are printed as realistically as the digital version depicted here. Considering that the art reproductions are printed and processed manually, there may also be minor differences in the exact position and the size of the motif.

What does the website of the The Metropolitan Museum of Art say about this 19th century work of art from the painter and lithographer Franz Xaver Winterhalter? (© Copyright - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

Winterhalter began an official portrait of Empress Eugénie (Eugénie de Montijo, Condesa de Teba, 1826-1920) shortly after her marriage in 1853 to Napoleon III, emperor of France, but it was not exhibited until 1855. The present work is, in contrast, relatively intimate in scale and effect. It shows the empress in a Second Empire adaptation of an eighteenth-century gown. Her interest in the previous century, especially her fascination with Marie Antoinette, queen of France from 1774 to 1793, is well documented.

In 1854 Franz Xaver Winterhalter made the romanticist work of art "The Empress Eugenie (Eugénie de Montijo, 1826-1920, Countess of Teba)". The more than 160 years old original creation was painted with the size: 36 1/2 x 29 in (92,7 x 73,7 cm). Oil on canvas was applied by the German artist as the technique for the painting. Besides, the artpiece is part of the digital collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is one of the world's largest and finest art museums, which includes more than two million works of art spanning five thousand years of world culture, from prehistory to the present and from every part of the globe.. The creditline of the artwork is: Purchase, Mr. and Mrs. Claus von Bülow Gift, 1978. Further, the alignment is portrait with a ratio of 3 : 4, meaning that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter, lithographer Franz Xaver Winterhalter was an artist, whose style can be classified as Romanticism. The Romanticist painter lived for a total of 68 years - born in the year 1805 in Menzenschwand, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany and died in the year 1873 in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen state, Germany.
