Original artwork information as provided from Belvedere (© - Belvedere - Belvedere)
Hans Makart is currently working again on a large-scale architectural design depicting a church in the Gothic style. It is again the boldness and imagination admire the artist in this design, but to execute this Gothic church probably can get as little as the Renaissance Palace. (General Kunstchronik, 03/11/1883) In the auction catalog from 1885 the church called "St. George's Chapel" was called, an error which persisted throughout the subsequent literature, although the figure of the Archangel Michael is clearly visible on the spire. A charcoal drawing on canvas with the layout of the church appears in the estate catalog under no. 2c (250 x 105 cm). Above the portal Photography of the "Cross" Rogier v. d. Weyden in the Prado. As a size comparison hint of a figure in the archway. Pencil sketch, Vienna, former. Lanckoroński collection (see picture archive Belevere, Vienna). [See. Frodl, Makart, 2013, cat. No. 490/1]

Available material options
For every art print we offer different sizes and materials. Therefore, we allow you to choose among the following options:
- The poster print on canvas material: The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slightly roughened surface texture, that reminds the actual version of the artwork. The print poster is optimally qualified for placing the art replica in a customized frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin between 2-6cm around the artwork, which facilitates the framing.
- Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with an outstanding depth effect. The white & bright parts of the artpiece shine with a silky gloss, however without any glare. The direct UV print on Aluminum Dibond is the most popular entry-level product and is a truly sophisticated way to showcase artworks, since it puts all of the viewer’s focus on the image.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The acrylic glass print, which is often referenced as a fine art print on plexiglass, will convert your selected original work of art into beautiful décor. The great benefit of a plexiglass fine art copy is that sharp contrasts and minor color details will be exposed with the help of the granular gradation in the picture.
- Canvas: The canvas direct print is a printed cotton canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher. A canvas print of your favorite work of art will allow you to transform your art print into a large collection piece like you know from galleries. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any type of wall.
