This 17th century painting was painted by the Dutch painter Willem Kalf. The original version has the size: height: 49,3 cm width: 42,9 cm | height: 19,4 in width: 16,9 in. Oil on canvas was used by the European artist as the medium of the piece of art. The original painting has the following inscription: "signed: kalf". This artwork is part of the digital collection of Mauritshuis. Further, the alignment is in portrait format and has a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The painter Willem Kalf was an artist, whose style was mainly Baroque. The artist lived for a total of 74 years and was born in the year 1619 in Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands and deceased in 1693 in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
