Additional description from the museum (© - by The Cleveland Museum of Art - www.clevelandart.org)
Neptune—the Roman god of water—and his wife, Amphitrite, ride a chariot pulled by sea horses. Water fowl and flying fish glide in the sky above them, while in the distance a group of nymphs beckon from a grotto. Neptune’s trident represents his power over water and storms; the fish, shells, coral, and pearls carried by his subjects show his wealth.

Which would be your preferred material?
We offer a range of different materials and sizes for every product. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:
- Poster (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a slightly roughened finish on the surface. It is particularly used for framing the art replica in a special frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm around the print motif to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
- Aluminium dibond print (metal): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an outstanding depth effect. The bright components of the artpiece shine with a silk gloss, however without the glow.
- The canvas print: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with a painting on a canvas, is an image printed onto canvas. A canvas print of this work of art will allow you to transform your very own into a large artpiece as you would see in a real gallery. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. This means, it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
- Acrylic glass print: A glossy acrylic glass print, which is sometimes referred to as a plexiglass print, transforms your favorite original work of art into gorgeous décor. Moreover, it offers a great alternative option to dibond and canvas fine art replicas. The artwork will be made with the help of state-of-the-art UV printing machines. This makes stunning, rich print colors. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts as well as minor color details become exposed because of the very subtle tonal gradation in the picture. The acrylic glass protects your chosen art replica against light and external influences for between four and six decades.
