The battle of the Saint-Denis July 28, 1830, current 10th district. Historic stage. At left, perspective of the boulevard Bonne Nouvelle. In the foreground, left several insurgents fired on the soldiers advancing on the boulevard; two second the children. In the middle, transportation of an injured woman and right supports another injured. In the background, left, with a group of insurgents polytechnician brandishing his sword and holding a flag; in the middle, at the foot of the Saint-Denis cavalry charge toward the suburb. Insurgents grouped at the top of the Saint-Denis, throw stones at the riders.
Exhibited at 1831, No. 1277. A table of the same composition but extended on the left unsigned went on sale in 1972.
