Other title: Le grand noyer (The Big Walnut Tree) Signed and dated, l.l.: C Pissarro 1886
Gallery label: In 1885 Impressionist Camille Pissarro adopted Seurat's revolutionary new methods. The patterns of sunlight and shadow in this landscape demonstrate his deft division of warm and cool hues and use of lively dotted strokes. Its quality and size make this rare canvas a key example of Neo-Impressionism. Set in the yard of Pissarro's home in Normandy, the vista shows the steeple of the parish church rising beyond his neighbor's brick house. The frame was reproduced according to Pissarro's specifications, blending his preference for white versus his dealer's demand for gold.

Canvas prints are suited for any kind of wall.
- The poster print on canvas material: The poster is a UV printed flat canvas with a fine structure on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print in order to facilitate the framing.
- Aluminium dibond print (metal): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an impressive depth effect. For the Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the artwork right on the surface of the white-primed aluminum material. The white and bright components of the original artpiece shine with a silky gloss, however without any glare.
- Glossy acrylic glass print: A glossy print on acrylic glass, which is often described as a plexiglass print, will transform your favorite original work of art into gorgeous home décor. The great upside of a plexiglass fine art print is that sharp contrasts as well as small color details become identifiable with the help of the granular tonal gradation of the print.
