The bright & white parts of the artwork shimmer with a silky gloss, however without glare. The direct UV print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely sophisticated way to showcase fine art reproductions, since it puts the viewer’s focus on the artwork.
- Poster (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slightly roughened structure on the surface. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin between 2 - 6cm round about the work of art to facilitate the framing.

Although he worked in a wide variety of styles, Segal consistently explored optical effects throughout his career. Here, Segal employs a pointillist technique to capture the quality of sunlight, stippling his canvas with tiny dots of pigment. An X-ray of this painting reveals that Segal initially included a seated woman, probably based on a photograph of his wife (both shown below). Note the identical hands, chair, and leaves beside her. In the final version, he removes the woman and replaces the curving, organic lines of the chair with straight, angular lines.
